The comparison between the high power output of a generator set and the rated power specified in the technical manual can indicate the technical status of the generator set. During normal use, the degree of power reduction of the whole machine can also indicate the wear of parts, such as the wear of cylinder liner, piston, piston ring and other parts.
Diesel consumption has increased. The increase in diesel consumption is related to many factors. If the oil quantity of the sub pump of the fuel injection pump is adjusted too much, the fuel injection nozzle shows oil leakage, the cooling effect is poor, the sealing of the intake and exhaust valves is not tight, the oil quality of the lubricating oil is poor, and the cylinder pressure is too low, etc., it will increase the oil consumption during the operation of the fully automatic generator set. Therefore, the increase in the oil quantity of the generator set is a comprehensive evaluation indicator.
The consumption of lubricating oil has increased. During the normal operation of the generator set, the increase in lubricating oil is mainly reflected in the increase in wear of the cylinder and piston group, and the more oil enters the combustion chamber of the generator set, the greater the blue smoke emitted from the exhaust pipe of the generator set.
The cylinder pressure decreases. The pressure of diesel to the cylinder can indicate the degree of air leakage between the cylinder liner and piston components, as well as the intake and exhaust valves and valve seats.
The crankshaft pressure decreases. The magnitude of crankshaft pressure can determine the degree of wear on the cylinder liner and piston components of a fully automatic generator set.
The oil pressure decreases. During normal operation of the generator set, the level of oil pressure can determine the wear of the bearings. The lower the oil pressure, the larger the wear clearance of the bearings.
The impurities in the lubricating oil increase. The amount of impurities in the lubricating oil is used to determine the degree of wear of individual components that need to be lubricated inside the fully automatic generator set. By testing the content of various elements in lubricating oil, the wear rate of each moving component can also be determined.
