腐蚀问题是导致散热器故障的主要原因。在此建议要经常检查管子接头，使之不要泄漏，并且水箱要定期加水以排空系统内的空气。散热水箱也不要处于部分注放水的状况，因为这样往往加速腐蚀过程。对于不工作的发电机组，要把水箱全部抽空或全部灌满。条件允许的话，用蒸馏水或自然软水，并加入适量的防锈剂。

Corrosion is the main cause of radiator failure. The cooling water tank should not be in the condition of partial water injection and discharge, because this often accelerates the corrosion process. 在露天环境中工作的发电机组，其散热器的缝隙可能会被碎屑、昆虫等杂物堵塞。可以经常用低压热水（适当添加清洁剂）进行喷洗，要注意把蒸气或水从散热器前面向风扇喷射。喷洗时，要用布将柴油机及交流发电机遮挡起来。如果沉积物难以除去的话，则可以把散热器拆下并在热的碱水浸泡约20分钟，然后用热水冲洗干净。

一条开机启动前的准备步骤：

1、检查各紧固件、连接件是否松动，各运动件是否灵活。

2、检查燃油、机油以及冷却水的储量，要满足使用基本要求。

2. Check the reserves of fuel, engine oil and cooling water to meet the basic requirements.

3、检查控制柜上的负载空气开关，应在断开位置（或置OFF位），并将电压旋钮整定在电压比较小的位置上。
